Main technological innovation content: Waxy corn is a characteristic of China and has formed an advantageous industry in efficient agriculture in our country. Purple-black waxy corn is a type of waxy corn. It is rich in anthocyanins, amino acids, iron and other elements. It has high nutritional value and is favored by consumers. The special functions of purple-black waxy corn have been valued and studied by most corn breeders, but the utilization of its heterosis has progressed slowly. At present, the existing purple-black varieties in production turn black and the grains become hard and difficult to eat; or the color is extremely black and the water is as black as ink after cooking, causing panic among consumers. For a long time, the breeding of new purple-black waxy corn varieties has not been able to achieve breakthrough progress because excellent germplasm of purple-black waxy corn that colors early, turns quickly, and steeps without fading has not been discovered. As a result, an excellent germplasm of purple-black waxy corn was found that changed from yellow to red to blue to black, colored early and changed quickly. Using the two-ring line method, the backbone inbred line ldquo; ShenW93rdquo; of purple-black waxy corn was created and obtained the national new plant variety rights (Annex 1-1). It solves the technical bottleneck of the lack of backbone inbred lines in the breeding of new varieties. Major progress and breakthroughs have been made in germplasm innovation and new variety breeding. amp;ldquo; ShenW93rdquo; Main characteristics: (1) Purple and black color is dyed early, the color changes quickly, the color does not fade when cooked, and the inheritance is stable. (2) Good waxy quality, with amylopectin content as high as 99.59%. (3) High coordination ability. (4) High yield, semi-compact plant type, suitable for close planting, and seed production yield of more than 250kg/mu. Using ldquo; ShenW93rdquo; as the backbone parent, four new waxy corn hybrid varieties of ldquo; Huziheinuo 2rdquo;, ldquo; Huwucai Huannuo 1rdquo;, ldquo; Wucai Tiannuo 1rdquo; and ldquo; Wucai Tiannuo 2rdquo; were bred. The quality was higher than the standards issued by the Ministry of Agriculture, reaching 95.0 points, 85.6 points, 89.2 points, and 89.0 points respectively. The yield is high, all of which increase by more than 10% compared with the regional test controls. Among them, 3 have passed the approval of Shanghai City varieties (Annexes 1-2, 1-3, 6-16). The results focus on the formation mechanism of purple-black colors. Molecular biology technology was used to conduct genetic and molecular marker research on ldquo; Shenw93rdquo; grain color formation mechanism of purple-black waxy corn was revealed using metabolome and transcriptome analysis. Important progress was made in molecular biology research (Annexes 6-1, 6-2). Combined with Shanghai-Yunnan counterpart poverty alleviation, new purple-black waxy corn varieties have formed a plateau characteristic agricultural industry in Wenshan Prefecture, Yunnan. Through integrated demonstration of cultivation techniques, the production of new varieties has formed a pollution-free production, cultivation and production base that basically does not use pesticides and mainly uses increased application of farm organic fertilizers. To ensure the green, safe and ecological environment of agricultural products, and to increase the value of processing to increase farmers 'income, purple-black waxy corn processed products were rated as the Famous, Special and Excellent Products of Yunnan Province in 2018 (Annex 6-15). The new variety has been demonstrated and planted in a large area in the Yangtze River Delta and suitable ecological areas of Yunnan Province, and has become a high-end waxy corn variety and has been promoted and applied. The cumulative promotion area is more than 100,000 acres, creating an output value of 360 million yuan in economic benefits and an additional economic profit of 160 million yuan (Annex 5-1). The results have significant economic benefits and have achieved high scientific research value and academic level. Obtained 1 new plant variety right protection, 3 varieties were approved, and 1 invention patent (Annexes 1-1 to 1-3, 6-16, 6-17). More than 2 molecular labeling systems were established and 13 papers were published, including 1 SCI paper (Annexes 6-1 to 6-13).
