This project belongs to the field of distributed systems and networks.
With the rapid development of broadband wireless access and Mobile device technology, people urgently hope to be able to easily obtain information and services from the Internet anytime, anywhere, and even while on the move. The mobile Internet has emerged and is developing rapidly. However, the mobile Internet still faces a series of challenges in terms of Mobile device, access networks, application services, etc. With the support of the National 863 and Natural Science Foundation of China, this project has carried out original research from the aspects of resource scheduling and low energy consumption optimization of Mobile device, mobile network access technology and context-aware application services, and proposed a set of key technologies for mobile Internet support. Some results have broken through foreign blockages on key technologies of mobile Internet systems. The main technological innovations are as follows:
1. Efficient resource scheduling and energy conservation for Mobile device. For multi-core terminals, we propose system task scheduling and low power optimization methods. For the first time in the world, collaborative scheduling technology for flow-based computing and communication in multi-core systems was studied, and the best method to reduce inter-core communication was found, which can reduce communication length by 14.7% and memory footprint by 32.5%. Proposed data pipelining compilation optimization technology to improve performance by 33.358.7%; a circular merge method was designed to improve performance by 12.927.7%。It is the first in the world to implement a hybrid operating system RTLinux-THIN based on secondary hardware interrupts, improving the latency and predictability of real-time interrupts. In order to reduce the power consumption of terminal equipment, a state-based idle time prediction method is proposed, which makes the floating point arithmetic unit sleep during 97.7% of the idle period; a memory-based Bank type scheduling strategy is proposed, which can reduce the system power consumption by 16.2%.
2. Mobile Internet access technology. This paper mainly studies and proposes the structure and evolution theory of dynamic self-organizing networks, and proposes a new network topology design problem based on network coding. A scalable and full-coverage wireless mesh network hierarchical structure is designed. A node mobility control and prediction model in mobile computing environment and efficient topology control technology are proposed. A highly energy-efficient and low-power routing algorithm is implemented, reducing energy consumption by more than 50%. A data transmission model and method are designed with end-to-end performance as the optimization goal. A distributed denial of service (DDoS) identification and tracking method is proposed, which greatly reduces the threat of DDoS attacks.
3. Key technologies of application services. Focusing on a series of common applications on the mobile Internet, user location technology has been researched and implemented; for mobile search applications, recommendation technology based on collaborative filtering has been studied, and linear complexity CFC classifier and ISA dimension reduction technology have been proposed. The training time is only 1% of the standard method; In terms of identifying user behavior, an inference method based on evidence theory is proposed, which improves the recognition rate by more than 20%.
The project as a whole has reached the international advanced level, applying for 20 national invention patents (9 authorizations), registering 10 software copyrights, and publishing 20 high-level papers. Many of them were published in IEEE TPDS, TVLSI, RTSS, RTAS, INFOCOM, WWW, ACM LCTES and other high-quality conferences and journals in this field, and received positive comments and a large number of citations from domestic and foreign colleagues, including many ACM Fellow and IEEE Fellow. Some results are called the pioneer and foundation of related work. The project results have been successfully applied and promoted in ZTE, Huawei, Wanda Information, Shanghai Yidian, Beijing Yunqi Tiancheng and other companies. In the past three years, a total of 81.8 million yuan has been added in new tax revenue, increased revenue and saved expenditure by 95 million yuan. It has provided important technical support for my country's development of autonomous and controllable mobile Internet strategic emerging industries, and has achieved outstanding economic and social benefits.
