This project belongs to the technical field of ship and ocean engineering equipment.
The wind power installation platform is a key core equipment for the construction of offshore wind farms and is used for the piling and installation of offshore wind power equipment. When the project was established, there were very few wind power installation platforms under construction in China. Due to a series of problems such as harsh operating wind and waves environment, complex piling technology, and high requirements for pile leg and rack welding, the design of wind power installation platforms was mastered by foreign design companies. Moreover, most of its core equipment relies on imports and forms a monopoly. After more than three years of hard work, the project has overcome key core technologies and independently developed an 800-ton crane level wind power installation platform. The specific innovative results are as follows:

  1. China's first 800-ton lifting weight wind power installation platform independently developed, designed and built: This platform is the first self-lifting wind power installation platform in China that integrates basic design, detailed design, construction and key supporting equipment manufacturing independently completed by the same unit. More than 75% of the main supporting parts including cranes, windmills, pile legs and lifting and locking systems are independently developed and provided by us. Independent complete overall performance calculations, including complete stability, damaged stability and innovative lifting loss stability. A set of structural reliability design and research methods for large-tonnage offshore cranes under comprehensive wind and waves conditions has been formed.
  2. Innovate and develop large-diameter piling correction systems: Due to the influence of severe wind, waves and currents at sea for large-diameter pile driving at sea, and the lack of a dedicated large-scale piling correction system, it is difficult to ensure the verticality of entering the mud required by the wind turbine (4‰). Before the launch of this project, the country was basically in a blank exploration period. Due to the lack of necessary correction systems, cases of pile driving failure occurred frequently. This project adopts a unique patented design, with a maximum adaptable pile diameter of 7 meters and a correction force of up to 100 tons. It can be corrected independently in both horizontal and vertical directions. Each of the upper and lower layers can be combined and corrected in four directions. The theoretical correction accuracy reaches 2‰, and the highest actual operation accuracy reaches 0.19‰, reaching the international advanced level.
  3. Welding process of high-strength steel pile legs and rack: Welding of high-strength steel is a difficult point in structural manufacturing. The pile legs and rack materials of this project are special high-strength steel with a yield strength of 690MPa. The processing of pile legs and rack is of great importance to product quality. Based on independent innovation, the project has developed a unique and efficient welding process through theoretical modeling and calculation, optimization screening and multiple simulation tests. It has also developed a dedicated automated welding production line, which passed the 1:1 simulation test section at one time. The welding evaluation has been double recognized by the American Bureau of Shipping and China Classification Society, effectively ensuring the manufacturing quality and accuracy of pile legs and racks, and the indicators have reached the international advanced level. Relevant research results have been applied for patent protection.
  4. Development of full-swing cranes with the largest lifting weight and height in China: Full-swing cranes are often the most important core equipment of various engineering ships. They are expensive and have a large technical content, and are often a sign of whether a engineering ship is technologically advanced. In response to the requirements of long-arm frames and large lifting heights of wind farm cranes, a new 800-ton full-swing crane machine slewing track support device has been developed, which greatly improves the crane's anti-overturning moment, with uniform stress on the rollers and better fatigue resistance. It has the advantages of fast lifting speed, high lifting accuracy, high reliability, easy maintenance, etc. Relevant research results have been successfully applied for invention patents.
    Through independent research and development of wind power installation platforms with independent intellectual property rights, we have mastered a number of core technologies and cultivated a scientific and technological team in R & D, design, and manufacturing. The project obtained 2 invention patents and 2 utility model patents, and published 2 corresponding papers. The project has reached the international advanced level after being newly searched. The project has received dual certification from American Bureau of Shipping and China Bureau of Shipping. The project results have been successfully industrialized and have the competitiveness to occupy domestic and foreign markets. In recent years, it has undertaken multiple wind power platform projects, achieving sales revenue of 300 million yuan and new profits of nearly 30 million yuan. The project broke international monopoly and formed independent intellectual property rights, greatly saved the cost of offshore wind power energy development in my country, effectively promoted the development of the industrial chain, and not only cultivated core technical talents in offshore engineering.
