This project aims to study the design technology of small general integrated avionics systems for general aviation aircraft. By studying the application requirements of small general aircraft, define the main functions and functional architecture of its avionics systems, and complete the physical architecture design and functional allocation of avionics systems. Aiming at the limited installation space of small general aircraft, the project carried out a highly integrated avionics system architecture design and developed an integrated avionics system with system functions such as comprehensive display, atmospheric data processing, and engine data processing.
This project uses EA system design tools to build system requirements use case models, system function architecture models, physical architecture models, etc. It is pioneering based on joint avionics system technology and integrates the most important avionics system functions. As the core of system data processing and task scheduling, it integrates sensors and data processing to realize cockpit display control, atmospheric data, heading attitude system, Comprehensive processing of engine parameter acquisition system, data storage and transmission, satellite communication navigation and flight guidance functions.
The integrated avionics system design of the small general aircraft studied in this project has achieved the expected goals, and key technologies and technical difficulties have been overcome and tested in practice. The project has the advantages of small size, light weight, small number of equipment, and high reliability. It meets the functional and performance requirements of small general aircraft avionics systems and reaches the domestic leading technical level.
The project obtained a utility model patent: an integrated avionics system for a small general aircraft (Patent No.: ZL201520218236.2).
The results of this project are currently used in the primary education of seven aircraft and participated in the 8th Zhuhai Air Show in 2010. The products have been well received by professional visitors participating in the exhibition.
From 2013 to 2014, 2 sets of products have been delivered, each with 3 million yuan. This product has huge market potential and can be promoted as a basic avionics system platform for small general aircraft in the future, with important economic and social benefits.
