Although ultrafast fiber light sources provide an important practical platform for ultrafast lasers, high energy consumption and excessive volume are still important reasons that hinder the further practical application of ultrafast laser light sources. In addition, the core device of ultrafast light sources,'semiconductor saturated absorber' is still an important 'stuck neck' technology. This project is oriented to many transformative technologies based on ultrafast lasers in the future. Starting from the theory of ultrafast lasers, it carries out research on low-threshold ultrafast laser light sources, focusing on the development of independently domestically produced large-area carbon nanotube saturated absorption devices, optimizing the performance of core devices, and building a portable ultrafast laser light source. Provide technical reserves for technological innovation in advanced processing, medical care, manufacturing and other fields, and provide technical support for the construction of Shanghai Science and Technology Innovation Center. This project not only carries out basic scientific research, but also takes into account the needs of industry-university-research collaboration for the development of actual equipment, and plays an important role in recommending the industrial application of ultrafast photonics.
