Solution details

Forest carbon sinks are currently the largest and most mature natural solution. In addition to carbon reduction, there will be other ecological synergy effects. However, the monitoring process in the carbon sink project development process is costly, raising the entry threshold, making it difficult for small owners to participate. Tencent SSV and the Academy of Forestry jointly provide a public welfare solution that allows users to automatically calculate forest carbon reserves after uploading forest remote sensing images obtained by lidar, thereby obtaining carbon sinks. This will greatly reduce the monitoring cost of forest carbon sink projects and increase the accuracy and timeliness of monitoring.
