1. Project background
With the development of science and technology, automobile autonomous driving technology is currently the research focus of the automobile industry. As early as 2010, Google announced in its official blog that it was developing self-driving cars, with the goal of changing the basic way cars are used to help prevent traffic accidents and liberate people from a large amount of driving time; in 2011, the Nevada Legislature of the United States allowed Self-driving vehicles to hit the road, which was also the first law on autonomous driving in the United States and officially came into effect on March 1, 2012; In 2012, the Nevada Motor Vehicle Administration (DMV) approved the first autonomous vehicle license in the United States. Before issuing the license, officials had previously inspected the car on highways, Carson City neighborhoods and the Las Vegas Strip, and claimed that previous tests on highways, city streets and downtown Las Vegas had shown that autonomous vehicles can drive safely, even safer than manual driving. Domestically in China, in April 2014, China search engine and Internet giants Baidu and BMW announced the start of an autonomous driving research project and testing it on highways with complex road conditions in Beijing and Shanghai; On June 11, 2015, Baidu said that Baidu and German BMW Motor Company will cooperate to develop autonomous vehicles and plan to launch a prototype in China for road tests later in 2015. If the plan is implemented smoothly, Baidu will be far ahead of Google (Weibo) in terms of time, which plans to officially launch self-driving cars in 2017; On the morning of December 2, 2017, the self-driving passenger bus Alphabus, jointly built by Hailiang Technology and Shenzhen Bus Group, Shenzhen Futian District Government, Ankai Bus, Dongfeng Xianglv, Sagitar Juchuang, ZTE, Southern University of Science and Technology, Beijing Institute of Technology, and Beijing Union University, officially collected and tested the line on the open road of Shenzhen Futian Free Trade Zone. At present, the development and application of safe and reliable autonomous driving technology has become a hot topic for many automobile manufacturers and technology companies. The development of leading domestic autonomous driving software also provides reliable technical guarantee for my country to improve industrial upgrading.Based on the rise of the development of autonomous driving technology at home and abroad, autonomous driving will become a trend in the future. China's law on autonomous driving will gradually open the policy environment. Under the background of comprehensive consideration, Shanghai University of Engineering Science has developed autonomous driving software packages to provide technical support for the technological progress of enterprises.
2. Technological innovation points
Develop the uC/OS-II operating system in automobile autonomous driving software to reduce the coupling between software modules and improve software reliability; develop autonomous driving cruising economic speed, which can effectively overcome factors such as ups and downs, wind speed and other factors on the accuracy of calculating economic speed. Adverse impact, saving car electricity or improving fuel economy; When it is necessary to slow down in front, intelligent software algorithms will control the throttle instead of braking while maintaining a safe distance, saving the car's electricity or improving fuel economy.
