PVA film release material technology has proven charge dissipation characteristics. PVOH-based films are static dissipative and moisture permeable, and have low permeability to oxygen and other gases. PVOH-based films can biodegrade in wastewater facilities and other environments containing adaptive organisms.

It does not require disassembly or measurement of individual products, making it easy to use at any time; can be used to reduce user contact with irritating chemicals, agricultural fertilizers, pesticides or hospital infectious materials; the film isolates gases, odors and oils, and its dissolution temperature can be controlled by design.

The use of disposable items such as packets, bottles, bags or protective films can be avoided; current formulations can use up to 25% of biomaterials; and they will not contaminate the plastic or paper recycling stream.
