

Focusing on the major needs of the development of the country's manufacturing industry, we aim at important representative petrochemical units such as ethylene, purified terephthalic acid (referred to as PTA), and refining to solve the energy and resource shortages, high energy and material consumption per unit of product, and environmental pollution. Starting with urgent problems to be solved, we have formed a series of integrated optimization control technologies and systems for efficient utilization of energy and resources, mainly including: (1) The coupled modeling technology of the flow field, combustion, radiant heat transfer and free radical cracking reaction process in the furnace tube proposed by the ethylene plant optimization operation technology for maximizing high value-added products breaks through technical bottlenecks such as co-cracking of different raw materials, optimized arrangement of burners and furnace tubes, and maximizing operating benefits of the cracking furnace. The integrated optimization technology for the entire process of ethylene plants, including advanced control of cracking process, optimization of resource allocation of cracking furnace groups, optimization of C2/C3 hydrogenation reaction process, and operation optimization of ethylene separation tower system, has been successively used in Yangzi Petrochemical, Shanghai Petrochemical, Jilin Petrochemical, etc. It has been applied to multiple introduced large-scale units. Relevant research results have won 2 second prizes for National Scientific and Technological Progress Awards, China Patent Excellence Award, and first prize for Shanghai City Invention and Creation Patent. (2) Optimizing operation technology for the whole process of energy conservation and consumption reduction of PTA units. Process modeling and optimization technologies for the p-xylene oxidation reaction production process, hydrorefining production process, and solvent dehydration process of PTA units have been developed, realizing a PTA full process oriented to energy conservation and consumption reduction. Optimization operation technology. Relevant research results have won 2 second prizes for national scientific and technological progress awards and the first prize for invention and creation patents in Shanghai City. (3) Clean gasoline blending optimization control technology In response to the national gasoline quality indicators and environmental protection requirements, a complete set of gasoline pipeline blending technology was invented. The optimization control technology was used to blend the national V clean gasoline, realizing the long-term and efficient operation of the real-time optimization system for the blending process., creating direct economic benefits of more than 95 million yuan per year. In addition, relevant control and optimization technologies have been extended to many production units such as aromatic hydrocarbons and xylene units, oil refining, styrene, polyethylene, and polyester. Information technology can be effectively used to evaluate and diagnose bottleneck problems in enterprise operations, and provide overall solutions.
Related technologies have been applied in more than 20 sets of industrial units in China, creating direct economic benefits of 100 million yuan for enterprises every year. Related common technologies have radiated into intelligent manufacturing in the coal chemical industry and cement industries, and the economic and social benefits are very significant.
