

This project belongs to the technical field of overall ship development, involving majors such as overall ship design and construction technology. Following the design concept of environmental protection, flexibility and efficiency, the project team developed, designed and built a new generation of 21000 cubic meters with completely independent intellectual property rights through research on a series of key technologies such as line type, overall layout, structure, electromechanical systems, and construction.
Main innovation results:
(1) Using CFD as an advanced means, the line type research and development and optimization were carried out that took into account design and ballast different draughts. After verification and further optimization of ship model tests, a ship type with excellent comprehensive performance was obtained. The real ship trials showed that while ensuring the design draft speed, the ballast draft speed has been greatly improved;
(2) Comprehensively implement green and environmentally friendly design concepts. A set of effective measures to control SOx and NOx emissions, ballast water management, sewage treatment and fuel tank protection have been formulated to meet the latest environmental protection requirements;
(3) Applying integrated analysis technology of propulsion system and power load, the design of the entire ship's power and power system has been deeply optimized, manufacturing and maintenance costs have been reduced, and the safe, economic and efficient operation of the system has been ensured;
(4) Developed rapid weight calculation software for Type C independent cargo tanks, providing a basis for rapid response to contract design;
(5) Developed trial speed correction software that meets the requirements of ISO 15016, providing technical means for convenient and accurate evaluation of the rapid performance of the real ship and EEDI real ship verification;
(6) Developed a series of new processes and new technologies such as new pipeline impurity cleaning and filtering tooling for liquefied gas carriers, special tooling for coaxiality adjustment, accuracy control methods for shaft and rudder systems, and lifting of liquid tanks, forming independent intellectual property rights to ensure product quality and timely industrialization;
(7) The project has currently obtained 3 software copyrights, applied for 4 invention patents and 9 utility model patents (authorized), published 8 academic papers, and compiled 19 operation guidance documents.
This ship type has advanced in various performance indicators and is an excellent famous brand type in the global shipping market. After being launched to the market, a total of 9 ships have been accepted. According to market research, it ranks first among the construction plants of this series of ship types in the world in accepting orders. Currently, 5 ships have been successfully delivered and are in good condition. They also meet new international requirements for liquefied gas carriers. The new concept of environmental protection in the navigation industry is in line with the concept of "Health, Safety and Environmental Protection"(HSE), increasing the company's ability to develop high-tech liquefied gas carriers and its international competitiveness. After appraisal by experts 'scientific and technological achievements, the ship's comprehensive technical indicators have reached the contemporary international advanced level, has been highly praised by the market and shipowners, and has significant economic and social benefits.
