Solution details

Nowadays, many water bodies in our country have eutrophication problems. This is due to the fact that people's various production activities discharge large amounts of nutrients into the water bodies, resulting in the outbreak of blue and green algae. Blue-green algae have a very strong survival capacity and are difficult to decompose. Many methods temporarily suppress the outbreak of blue-green algae and do not fundamentally solve this problem. Therefore, eliminating blue and green algae has become the most basic issue in restoring the ecological balance of water bodies. Therefore, our company innovatively proposed to domesticate a species of zooplankton to eat blue and green algae, and used biological treatment methods to completely solve this problem.
The main technical contents contained in this patent are: (a) domesticating a zooplankton so that it can eat blue algae in eutrophic water and become algae-eating insects. (b) Put algae eating insects into eutrophic water contaminated by cyanobacteria and eat the cyanobacteria in the water, thereby purifying the water body and restoring the underwater ecological balance. Then, by planting submerged plants, releasing underwater animals and some fungi, organisms gradually build a complete ecosystem, so that the water body has the ability to ecological self-purification. Using this patented technology in a certain range of water bodies,(1) the transparency of the water body can reach more than 90% after 24 hours of injecting algaevorous insects, reaching the basic conditions for restoring the water ecosystem, and then building a complete ecosystem in the water body;(2) After the restoration project is completed, the water quality index can meet the "Surface Water Environmental Quality Standards"(GB3838 -2002) III~ Class IV standard;(3) The transparency of water bodies can generally reach a depth of 3m, and the best can reach a depth of 5.5 m.
Algae insect-guided underwater ecological restoration technology "is" original in China and first in the world."It is the only high-tech achievement in the industry that has obtained a U.S. invention patent. Generally, after 3 days of dropping algae-eating insects, the transparency of water bodies can be significantly improved, underwater light conditions can be quickly improved, and conditions for the growth of underwater submerged plant communities and the construction of ecosystems. This completely solves the bottleneck problem that currently puzzles domestic and foreign experts in the process of aquatic ecological restoration due to their inability to improve underwater light conditions and their inability to quickly and effectively build submerged plant communities and aquatic ecosystems. At the same time, this technology is in a leading position in the industry.
This technology has been successfully applied in hundreds of projects since its invention, mainly including lake water, rivers and some landscape water bodies. Algaeres are the lowest primary consumers and at the bottom of the food chain. Any omnivorous and carnivorous animal can use it as a basic bait. Therefore, algae-eating insects are easy to eliminate and there are no biosafety issues.
