

This project belongs to the research and development field of large-scale LNG low-temperature insulated containers. It belongs to the key areas and priority themes of the "National Outline for Medium and Long-term Science and Technology Development (2006-2020)" theme of "Major Production Accident Warning and Rescue" in the public security field. The project consists of two sub-topics:"Research on Manufacturing Technology of Stainless Steel Double-Shell Low-Temperature (-196℃)LNG Spherical Tank" and "Guidelines for Emergency Rescue Plans for LNG Storage Tank Stations".
In the research on key technologies for the manufacturing of LNG low-temperature insulation spherical containers, this project has the following innovations: 1) Research on the manufacturing technology of stainless steel double-shell low-temperature (-196℃)LNG spherical tanks, which fills the gap in the manufacturing of domestic LNG spherical tanks with pressure of 100 - 10,000 m3; 2) According to the parameter range, the welding process evaluation test parameters were determined, multiple groups of welding tests were carried out, and qualified welding process evaluations were obtained. The welding technology of stainless steel spherical tanks was mastered, and a welder training plan was formulated;3) The plasma cutting of stainless steel spherical tanks adopts interlock control and trajectory control;4) The tooling fixture was invented to prevent deformation of stainless steel spherical shell plate components during pressing and welding; 5) The content of the research on low-temperature insulated spherical vessels has been compiled into GB12337 -2014 "Steel Spherical Storage Tanks". After being reviewed and approved by the National Boiler and Pressure Vessel Standardization Technical Committee, it has been implemented nationwide as a manufacturing standard for this type of spherical tanks.
In the research on emergency disposal technology of LNG low-temperature insulated storage tanks, this project has the following innovations: 1) Taking into account the requirements of LNG storage tank characteristics, LNG characteristics, on-site safety protection and other requirements, research is carried out on hazardous medium transfer technology in the event of a storage tank accident, forming an emergency tank dumping technology for accident storage tanks. 2) According to the characteristics of LNG storage tanks, the hazard sources and operation risks, emergency rescue organization, and emergency equipment requirements were systematically analyzed. Specific emergency rescue methods were proposed based on the characteristics of different types of accidents, and the "LNG Storage Tank Station Emergency Rescue Plan Guide" was formulated to guide user units in preparing plans and was adopted by the General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine. 3) According to the requirements of national laws and regulations and the summary of experience in actual drills at LNG storage tanks stations, drill procedures and relevant forms were determined, and a systematic and scientific emergency drill outline was formulated. 4) According to the requirements of current relevant laws and regulations, the job configuration requirements and management system requirements of LNG storage tank station users have been determined.
This topic has obtained 2 utility model patents, participated in 1 national standard preparation, formed 1 national-level guidance document, and published 5 papers, which is of great practical significance to government authorities and production enterprises.
The research on the subject has important social and economic value. The company has generated more than 12 million yuan in profits in the application of LNG low-temperature insulated container manufacturing. The results of the project have filled domestic gaps, reached the international advanced level, and have extremely high application prospects.
