Solution details
Coradia iLint™ is the world's first passenger train powered by a hydrogen fuel cell that provides electricity for traction. During operation, the train does not produce CO2 emissions, only discharges water. Coradia iLint™ is special because it combines different innovative elements: clean energy conversion, flexible battery energy storage, and intelligent management of traction power and available energy. Designed for up to 1000 kilometers of unelectrified or partially electrified lines, the train enables clean and sustainable train operation while ensuring the highest performance levels.
