Key innovations
The innovation of this technology lies in using existing coal-fired power plants to realize direct coupling power generation between biomass and coal through a modular system, flexibly adjusting the blending ratio (5%-100%), and finally achieving 100% biomass replacing coal, realizing pure biomass power generation, effectively reducing carbon emissions.
Potential economic benefits
This technology gradually replaces coal burning, significantly reduces fuel costs, and gains carbon trading benefits due to carbon emission reduction or avoids carbon taxes. At the same time, biomass waste is used to create new value, modular transformation reduces initial investment, and renewable energy subsidies can be enjoyed, thereby improving the long-term economic benefits and sustainable development capabilities of power plants.
Potential climate benefits
Biomass replaces coal combustion and utilizes its carbon neutrality characteristics to significantly reduce fossil CO2 emissions in the power generation process and ultimately achieve zero-carbon power generation.

Solution details

The project has carried out biomass direct-coupled coal-fired power generation technology. Relying on existing coal-fired power plants, a biomass-coupled power generation system with biomass material storage, material processing and material transportation as the framework has been added to achieve a low proportion of biomass coupling. %-40%, and a medium and high proportion of 50-100%. The system adopts a unit modular design, which can continuously increase the proportion according to the power plant conditions, and finally realize 100% biomass fuel replacing coal, becoming a 100% pure biomass power generation project.
