    Since my country began to implement the huge clean energy project of the "West-East Gas Pipeline" and made gas ultrasonic flowmeters the first choice for flow measurement, a large number of gas ultrasonic flowmeters have been used on the main gas transmission line. However, this key equipment has always been monopolized by foreign brands.
    Based on this situation, this project successfully develops a new four-channel high-precision digital ultrasonic gas flowmeter aiming at the requirements of high precision, high pressure, high reliability, online self-diagnosis and possible quantity measurement required in the trade settlement of high-pressure long-distance natural gas pipeline at home and abroad, filling the blank of gas ultrasonic flowmeter products for natural gas trade measurement of high-pressure long-distance natural gas pipeline in China.
  4. Main research contents
    The product of this project is specially designed for the application demand of trade settlement of high-pressure natural gas long-distance pipeline at home and abroad. We have designed four ultrasonic measurement channels distributed in parallel with the surface optimized according to the weight of the flow field area, which can more accurately reproduce the flow field distribution in the pipeline, reduce the failure rate and improve reliability. The original time-difference algorithm formula has been improved for online velocity measurement, the concept of unequal sound paths in the forward and backward directions in machinery has been introduced, and software algorithm modifications have been made to further improve the accuracy of linear velocity measurement and calculation. The linear flow rates of the four sound channels are synthesized according to the distribution law by the flow field area weights to obtain the surface flow rate in the pipe. The surface flow rate is multiplied by the cross-section to calculate the instantaneous flow rate in the pipe. The instantaneous flow rate is verified by real flow and corrected by zeroing. More accurate instantaneous flow rate, and then combined with real-time collected temperature and pressure data, as well as gas composition data, to calculate the standard volume instantaneous flow rate, which can be further accumulated into the standard flow rate. At the same time, the energy flow rate can be calculated based on the composition and the combustion value of each gas.

The ultrasonic transmitting and receiving circuit adopts temperature and pressure adaptive double closed-loop automatic gain control and other technologies to improve the signal-to-noise ratio of the signal, sound time measurement accuracy and anti-interference ability; e. Adopt a self-invented method to measure acoustic delay, which eliminates various delay errors to the greatest extent;f. Unique transducer sealing and mechanism processing design adapt to high pressure and high flow rate working conditions.
