Introduction to the results:
Waste kitchen oil is an important source of pollution. About 30 million tons of edible oil are consumed nationwide every year, of which 20 to 30% are waste kitchen oil. In addition, there is also a large amount of animal waste oil. The disposal and reuse of such waste oil is a major environmental and food safety issue related to people's livelihood.
The project is based on the major strategic needs of urban domestic waste treatment and comprehensive utilization, with the goal of treating waste kitchen oil. It focuses on complete sets of equipment and key technologies for producing biodiesel from waste kitchen oil and vehicles. It has gone through more than ten years of industry and education.
Research and research have jointly tackled key problems, invented a pretreatment process suitable for my country's kitchen waste oil and a solid catalytic production reactor for biodiesel, and built 2 complete sets of equipment for the production of biodiesel from kitchen waste oil with an annual output of 30,000 tons with independent intellectual property rights; Invented a low-cost and high-performance emulsifier, developed a high-stability bioemulsified diesel production process, and built 2 complete sets of equipment for the production of emulsified diesel with an annual output of 3,000 tons; Invented and developed a low-NOx and low-particulate emission exhaust after-treatment device for biodiesel engines; overcame key technologies for matching biodiesel and blended fuels with engines in terms of material compatibility, combustion characteristics, optimal mixing ratio for large-scale application, and intelligent control management system for electronically controlled diesel engines. For the first time in China, a scalable closed-loop management model of "collection, transportation, disposal and use" of biodiesel made from waste kitchen oils has been established to completely prevent its return to the dining table.
This project has been authorized 22 patents, including 8 invention patents. The project results have been applied in Shanghai Zhongqi Environmental Protection and other units, with new sales revenue of 33. 0.5 billion yuan, with an additional profit of 5. 6.7 billion yuan, with new tax revenue of 144 million yuan. It has formulated technical specifications for biodiesel fuel vehicles, and participated in the formulation of 1 biodiesel feedstock oil industry standard and 2 technical standards of the Shanghai City Biodiesel Alliance. The results of the project are included in the National Energy Administration's "Biodiesel Industry Development Policy" and are participating in the drafting of local policies in Shanghai City for the application of biodiesel in buses made from kitchen waste oils. In 2013 alone, Shanghai City disposed of kitchen waste oils into nearly 30,000 tons of biodiesel, reducing C02 emissions by 90,000 tons and PM emissions by 15 tons. It solves the problem of pollution control of kitchen waste oil and completely avoids its return to the table, and the social benefits are very significant.
