Solution details

According to market forecasts, PFI technology (intake port injection) will still have a market share of more than 10 million units by 2021. As the domestic automobile market continues to increase fuel consumption and emission requirements, various automobile manufacturers have begun to apply new technologies to meet requirements. Regulations. The PFI field has begun to use new technologies such as dual injector technology, dual fuel technology, and motor-driven wastegate control. These new functions require new PFI electronic controllers to support them. In 2013, the company launched the research and development of a new generation of advanced intake port injection ME17U6 electronic controller project. The ME17U6 controller can cover existing and potential engine and vehicle functional requirements of domestic OEMs, and is better compatible with previous electronic controllers such as ME1788. The better architecture and tool chain support collaborative software development and have better robustness. In terms of production process, through DFMA research, an integrated upper cover connector has been adopted, which can greatly reduce investment in production equipment; simplify the gluing trajectory of the sealant; save the station for installing screws; and adopt a new sealing glue, which can reduce the curing time of 48 hours to 1 hour, reducing the origin and capital occupation. The ME17U6 electronic controller platform project has developed the following key technological innovations:1. Vehicle functional safety monitoring technology. 2. Improved robustness and can support better ignition protection functions. Aiming at the problem of ignition coil burning, an ignition diagnosis and protection circuit is designed to identify ignition short circuit faults through current collection, and protect them through software layer, which improves the robustness of the platform. 3. Adopt integrated upper cover and connector to improve production efficiency. 4. Engine speed control when shifting gears. 5. Use new sealing glue to reduce curing time, increase production speed and shipment speed, reduce space and capital occupation. 6. Support motor-based GPA control. In response to the driving requirements of GPA, hardware driving circuits and software have been developed to support the driving of such loads. 7. Support dual injector control per cylinder (8 in total) and dual fuel control. In response to the demand for dual injection or dual fuel injection raised by some customers, a dual injection control circuit and control software have been developed to meet this demand and realize dual fuel control. 8. Add a Boost circuit to ensure that the MCU (central processing chip) does not reset under a low voltage of 4.5V and the starter works normally. In response to the MCU reset problem encountered during low-temperature start-up in high latitudes, the hardware has developed a Boost circuit specially used for boosting to ensure the normal operation of the ECU at low temperatures. 9. Electrostatic discharge simulation technology meets the electrostatic protection requirements of the controller. During the development process of the ME17U6 electronic controller platform project, 3 invention patents and 2 utility model patents have been authorized. Since 2015, the ME17U6 electronic controller has been supplied to customers such as Great Wall Motors, Shanghai Automobile, Chang 'an Automobile, and SAIC-GM-Wuling. As of the end of 2018, the cumulative sales volume of the ME17U6 electronic controller exceeded 2.7 million units, with a cumulative amount exceeding 700 million; It is estimated that by the end of 2020, the cumulative sales volume will exceed 5.2 million units, and the amount will exceed 1.3 billion yuan, creating good economic benefits for the company. The products of the ME17U6 electronic controller platform project are mainly used in the middle and high-end automobile markets that meet the requirements of European Phase 5 emission regulations (EU 5b,EU5+), as well as those with dual motor control requirements, dual injection or dual fuel injection requirements. Customers with requirements can also meet the requirements of the National Sixth emission regulations. When the ME17U6 electronic controller was batch produced, there was no independently developed dual injection or dual fuel injection in China. The batch production of the engine electronic controller that supports electronic throttle body and motor-type electronic supercharger control was completed, which filled the domestic gap.
