

This project belongs to the result of technological development and is a discipline of nuclear power generation engineering in nuclear power engineering technology. The control rod drive mechanism (CRDM) is a key electromechanical equipment in the control system and protection system of the nuclear power plant reactor, and is the brake system of the reactor. The control rod drive mechanism drives the reactor control rod assembly to lift, lower, hold or quickly insert in the core drive line to complete reactor start-up, power regulation, power maintenance and emergency shutdown functions under accident conditions. Under normal step conditions, the electromechanical delay time of the mechanism shall not exceed 150 ms. During stable operation, it can drive the control rod assembly to stay at the specified height of the reactor core and maintain reactor power. During rapid shutdown or accident conditions, the drive rod and control rod assembly can be quickly disengaged, and the control rod can be inserted into the reactor core within 2 seconds under the action of gravity to ensure the safety of the reactor core. Each group of control rod driving mechanisms consists of a pressure-resistant shell component, a hook claw component, a yoke coil component, a driving rod component, a rod position detector component and auxiliary components. The AP1000 nuclear power plant is currently the most advanced pressurized water reactor type in the world. It adopts passive design, and its safety, reliability and economy are greatly improved compared with previous generation nuclear power units. CRDM is the only moving part of the nuclear island core., it adopts a mechatronic servo mechanism with a design life of 60 years (20 years higher than previous equipment), it adopts the world's highest and most advanced nuclear power standard system, which puts forward strict requirements for materials, welding, machining, assembly and testing. Core technologies include processing of pressure-bearing parts and precision processing of slender rods., precision welding, precision assembly and comprehensive test technology, making it extremely difficult. As the world's first AP1000 nuclear power plants, my country's Sanmen and Haiyang Nuclear Power Plant Co., Ltd.(hereinafter referred to as: No. 1 Machine Tool) has undertaken the introduction, digestion and re-innovation of AP1000 nuclear power CRDM manufacturing in accordance with the national nuclear power strategic layout., and has undertaken the manufacturing task of the first domestically produced AP1000 unit CRDM (currently all equipment has been used in power stations), making my country's nuclear power take a solid step from a manufacturing country to a manufacturing power country. On the basis of fully drawing on previous manufacturing experience, and relying on its own personnel, technology and equipment, through scientific research project establishment, special research, process testing, and technological innovation, a machine tool has developed a complete set of AP1000 nuclear power CRDM manufacturing technology with independent intellectual property rights, designed and formulated more than 200 advanced processes, and obtained 6 authorized patents (Including 4 invention patents), published 7 scientific and technological papers, won 3 group and industry awards, and achieved 6 major innovative results: 1. Manufacturing technology of integrated pressure-resistant shell (hermetic shell);2. Double-toothed hook claw design and manufacturing technology;3. Driving rod, detachable joint materials and manufacturing technology;4. High-temperature coil manufacturing technology;5. Blind hole stroke sleeve processing technology; 6. CRDM cold and hot test and life test technology. Through project implementation, a machine tool independently developed and mastered the AP1000 control rod drive mechanism manufacturing technology, and fully applied it in subsequent independent CAP1000, CAP1400, Hualong No. 1 and other projects. The successful development of the AP1000 control rod drive mechanism has improved the manufacturing capabilities of my country's nuclear power equipment, marking that my country's nuclear power equipment manufacturing technology level has reached a new level, and has provided a basis for the subsequent three generations of million-kilowatt control rod drive mechanisms. Standardized manufacturing has laid the foundation and has good economic and social benefits.
