The SH63 series AMT transmission is also known as an electronically controlled mechanical automatic transmission. The key technology is to replace the original manual transmission by adding a microcomputer-controlled hydraulic electric device to minimize the change of the main structure of the original manual transmission. The shift action realizes the automation of the entire shift process.
This transmission combines a number of key technological innovations, mainly involving the following aspects:
a. Synchronizer device structure: The five forward gears and reverse gears are all inertia synchronizer shifts, adopting a slider-type synchronizer structure. Compared with the ring-spring synchronizer used in most transmissions, this structure simplifies the structure and eliminates the situation that the steel ball of the integrated slider escapes from the gear sleeve during gear shifting, which affects the shifting and even the synchronizer fails, and at the same time effectively reduces the noise during shifting.
b. Transmission selector and shifting mechanism: The design shift stroke is shortened to 8.75mm, making shifting faster; the friction system uses high friction coefficient materials to improve shifting comfort; the first/second synchronizer adopts a double conical structure to shorten shifting time; Manual mode provides a reverse gear pull-pin shifting system with self-locking and interlocking linkage, which can have three functions of reverse gear engagement, reverse gear positioning and fifth gear engagement, while effectively improving the reliability of fifth reverse gear interlock.
c. Reverse gear safety device: The elastic pin positioning design makes the reverse gear safety mechanism simple and reliable in structure. The phenomenon that the shaft of the reverse gear safety shift block comes out during use of the existing transmission is avoided, and the reverse gear safety shift block is ensured to rotate flexibly, and the reverse gear is locked and reset, which simplifies assembly and eliminates assembly risks.

The SH63 series AMT transmission has obtained a total of 6 invention patents such as "fixed-stroke synchronizer","reverse shift pin shifting system with self-locking and interlocking linkage", and "five reverse interlocks" in terms of transmission shifting mechanisms and synchronizer devices, as well as two utility model patents such as "synchronizer anti-release mechanism".
This transmission was completely independently developed by our company, completely reversing the situation of foreign-led design and Chinese-developed cooperation. The successful development of this transmission has also filled a gap in my country's AMT transmission field.
