Solution details

The most widely used standard, with the largest number of users, the greatest impact and the highest efficiency in the world is the video coding standard, which is used in almost every computer product, communication product, and audio and video product. Currently, the number of authorized users exceeds 4 billion each year.

There are three major series of international video coding standards: (1) the MPEG/H.26X series jointly formulated by IS0/ITU/IEC;(2) the AVS series jointly formulated by China's AVS and the International IEEE; and (3) the VP8/9/10/WebP series led by Google. This standardization research relies on data compression and codec technologies for new video content emerging in cloud computing, virtual reality, artificial intelligence, neural networks, and deep learning to guide invention patent technologies with fully Tongji's independent intellectual property rights to be adopted by international standards, and promote all products of this standard globally through the international standard patent pool.
