Solution details

 The project aims to develop ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene (UHMWPE) melt spinning technology and equipment, as well as UHMWPE monofilament derivative products. It studies and develops high-flow, high-performance UHMWPE modified raw material formulas, UHMWPE melt spinning technology and equipment, UHMWPE monofilament fishing net weaving and other technologies. The main research contents of the project include:

 1. Modify the processability of UHMWPE, study the relationship between the modified formula and the entangled morphology and structure of UHMWPE long chain molecules, viscosity and shear rate, temperature, polymer concentration, etc., and develop high-flow, high-performance UHMWPE formulas.

 2. Melt spinning technology of high-performance UHMWPE monofilament. Study on the effects of drawing temperature and drawing ratio on fiber crystallinity, molecular chain structure and mechanical properties during melt spinning.

 3. High-strength monofilament twisted knotless fishing net weaving technology and equipment.
