Infrared optical glass is an indispensable key material for advanced technologies such as over-the-horizon night vision, infrared detection, space remote sensing and precision guidance. It has broad and important applications in the fields of smart cities, driverless driving, public safety and aerospace. The new generation of infrared-based detection/early warning and precision guidance technologies are closely related to national security and the level of national defense equipment. There is an urgent need for ldquo; large size-wide spectrum-high optical uniformity rdquo; infrared optical glass. Large-diameter high-end infrared glass is recognized as challenging the limits of optical glass manufacturing. Top institutions in the world such as the United States, Germany, Japan and Russia have long been committed to research in this field. For a long time, Western developed countries have imposed a technical blockade on our country in this field and strictly imposed an embargo on infrared optical materials with a size larger than 200mm, which has become a bottleneck for my country to develop infrared guidance and countermeasures and other equipment. With the support of more than ten projects funded by major national projects, 863, General Assembly, Science and Technology Administration for National Defense, and Shanghai City Economic and Information Technology Commission, the project has overcome a series of key technical problems of large size high-performance infrared glass and frameless components, and achieved three technical inventions: (1) Invented a new type of infrared glass with a gallate oxygen-fluorine system: a deep-resolution infrared optical material& ldquo; intermediate-range structure& rdquo; and its evolution The structure-activity relationship of the impact on material characteristics, breaking through the traditional concept of glass& ldquo; forming body& rdquo; and proposed a new concept based& on ldquo; intermediate& rdquo; and& ldquo; intermediate-range structure& rdquo; A new idea for designing high-performance infrared optical glass has invented a new system of gallate heavy metal oxyfluoride infrared glass, which has excellent large size preparation characteristics and reaches the international leading level in mid-infrared performance;(2) Invented the large size and high-quality preparation technology of gallate oxyfluoride infrared glass: The physical water-removal-chemical water-removal-structural dehydroxylation technology and the segmented atmosphere control platinum removal technology have been invented, which solve the core problems of scattering particles, poor optical uniformity, and difficulty in water removal that are easy to appear in the preparation process of low viscosity and volatile infrared glass for large size, and developed infrared glass with high optical quality of more than 600mm (Optical uniformity reaches 10-6, hydroxyl content is as low as 1-2ppm), reaching the international advanced level;(3) Invented the reactive inorganic sol-gel bonding splicing technology, which achieved low-stress, high-conformal, high-strength and salt-spray resistant bonding splicing of three-dimensional components of the special-shaped infrared glass optical window. The developed splicing component has a light window stress of less than 6nm/cm, the viewing distance is increased by 20%, and it has a 360-degree full-field detection function, solving the technical problem of full-view unobstructed detection for the new generation fighter plane. This project has been authorized for 19 invention patents and published 111 papers. The overall technology has reached the international advanced level, and the results have been highly recognized by domestic and foreign counterparts.
