Key innovations
TENCEL™ is mixed with coniferous wood pulp, water and solvent amine oxide. It is heated until completely dissolved. No derivatives and chemical reactions will occur during the dissolution process. It is directly spun after impurities removal. Its molecular structure is simple carbohydrates.
Potential climate benefits
TENCEL™ fiber can be completely decomposed in soil and has no pollution to the environment; in addition, the amine oxide solvent used in production can be almost completely recycled and can be used repeatedly. The cellulose molecules contained in the raw pulp during production will not undergo chemical changes. No by-products, no waste is discharged outside the plant, and it is environmentally friendly or green fiber.
