In January 2016, the first million-kilowatt generator that meets the needs of inland transportation and internationalization completed its pre-factory type test in Shanghai. The test results show that the performance indicators of the generator comply with the provisions of national standard GB/T 7064-2008 and international standard IEC 60034-3. After completing the in-plant type test technology, according to the transportation capacity arrangements of the railway department, in May 2016, the first million-kilowatt generator stator that meets the needs of inland transportation and international development was transported to Sanmenxia Railway Station by rail transportation. A series of tasks such as unloading, transfer and splicing were completed, and it was successfully lifted to the basic platform of the power plant. This marks the smooth realization of inland transportation of the project's generators. In January 2017, a million-kilowatt generator that meets the needs of inland transportation and internationalization successfully passed 168 hours of continuous full-load test run at Datang Sanmenxia Power Plant and was put into commercial operation. All operating parameters of the unit were normal and performance indicators were excellent. This marks the successful completion of Shanghai Electric's first inland million-million project.
