CO2 is stabilized in a supercritical state by a constant pressure pump, CO2 and accelerator are fully mixed in the first static mixer, CO2 is stably injected into the first screw using a high-pressure metering pump and a mass flow meter, and the second static mixer is passed through the mixer, the third static mixer and polystyrene plastic are fully mixed in stages to achieve the goals of stable injection of CO2 and smooth foaming. Since CO2 is used instead of Freon as a blowing agent, emissions of high potential greenhouse gases are avoided, thereby achieving carbon emission reduction.

The compression strength of the CO2 foamed extruded board is ≥ 200kPa; the tensile strength is ≥0.15kPa; the size stability is ≤0.16; and the combustion performance is Class B1.

An annual production line of 150,000 cubic meters of CO2 foamed extruded board is produced. Compared with the traditional use of freon foaming, the freon is reduced by about 450 tons/year, which is equivalent to reducing carbon emissions by about 800,000 tons; the production cost of environmentally friendly extruded board is reduced by 70 yuan/m³, saving the cost of blowing agent by 10 million yuan/year.
