Key innovations
The thermal sprayed wear-resistant ceramic coating is highly innovative in technology and has independent intellectual property rights. By accurately controlling the coating composition, structure and stress, it achieves excellent performance under extreme working conditions such as aerospace (high load bearing, wide temperature range thermal shock, salt spray corrosion).
Potential economic benefits
This technology significantly reduces maintenance and replacement costs and improves equipment operating reliability and efficiency by extending the life of key components such as aerospace and high-end pump valves. Independent intellectual property rights and the application of key national projects establish market competitive advantages and achieve high-value substitution for imports, bringing considerable economic benefits and market share.
Potential climate benefits
This wear-resistant ceramic coating extends the service life of key aerospace and pump valve components and significantly reduces the need for new component manufacturing and replacement, thereby reducing carbon emissions during raw material mining, processing and production.

Solution details

Application areas:

Aerospace power and transmission systems and mechanical systems such as high-end pumps and valves

Technical characteristics:

The thermal spray wear-resistant ceramic coating deposition technology with independent intellectual property rights can obtain a wear-resistant ceramic coating system with good quality consistency and controllable composition, structure and stress levels, meeting the requirements of harsh wear service conditions such as high load bearing, high temperature, oxygen-rich, and wide temperature range thermal shock and salt spray corrosion environment.

Performance indicators:

The thickness of the coating is 50 - 600μm and the porosity is 6%. It meets the working conditions of high load bearing (PV=25 - 100MPa·m/s) and wide temperature range alternating thermal shock (-183 - 600 ℃). The salt spray corrosion resistance life of the coating is more than 1000 hours

Current status:

In Jiading District, Shanghai, there is a thermal spraying wear-resistant and corrosion-resistant ceramic coating production process equipment and testing and characterization equipment platform, applying for and authorizing more than 20 invention patents, and some coating products have been applied for key models in the national aerospace field.
