Since 1985, when China's scientific expedition team first set sail to the Antarctic, my country has conducted a total of 28 Antarctic scientific expeditions. China scientists have carried out multidisciplinary comprehensive inspections and research in the Antarctic, accumulated a large number of observation data, provided a solid foundation for scientific research, and achieved a large number of important scientific research results. At a time when my country's Antarctic research has made important breakthroughs, it is necessary for us to vividly display the distant polar world to the public, let the public understand the latest developments in the polar regions and my country's polar scientific research field, and arouse public attention to and protection of the polar ecology. Based on this, the Shanghai Science and Technology Museum held the Polar Exploration Exhibition in November 2010. The exhibition was also invited to tour Nanjing, Chongqing, Yangzhou and other places. The entire exhibition has received nearly 3 million people from the public. The "Polar Exploration" exhibition uses "Life and Environment, Exploration and Discovery, Polar Regions and Humanity" as the theme words, and strives to express the colorful life and magnificent natural environment of the polar regions, reveal the relationship between the polar regions and global climate change, and at the same time Promote the spirit of scientists bravely climbing scientific heights. The entire exhibition is divided into three theme areas: "Polar Life","Scientific Research Base" and "White Power". As the first theme area of the entire temporary exhibition,"Polar Life" mainly consists of three ecological scenes. The scenes focus on the adaptation of polar animals to the environment, and set up a number of small interactive exhibitions to showcase the survival wisdom of polar life. The "Scientific Research Base" displays the latest scientific research results of the polar regions through small interactive exhibitions. As the last theme area,"White Power" combines educational activities and science popularization forums to make audiences aware of the impact of polar change on the global climate.
