    This project starts with domestic and foreign research, conducts in-depth investigation and analysis on the current situation of idle kinetic energy conversion technology at home and abroad, completes the research on hydraulic electromagnetic power generation system from design, simulation, basic theory of energy conversion, component selection, energy storage method, energy storage circuit design, efficiency calculation, compatibility with actual engineering, etc. On the basis of key technologies, the principle prototype is manufactured and the platform is built for testing. Finally, an engineering pilot demonstration was carried out at the Training Center of State Grid Shanghai City Electric Power Company. The main contents and technical characteristics of this project are as follows:
    (1) The combination of hydraulic energy converter device and electromagnetic power generation method makes the entire system simple in structure, high energy conversion efficiency, and wide application range;
    The combination of hydraulic energy conversion devices and electromagnetic power generation methods can greatly improve the energy conversion efficiency of the device compared with piezoelectric power generation methods, facilitate project implementation, and collect idle kinetic energy generated by various vehicle models.
    (2) The hydraulic energy converter device is compatible with the road structure and collects idle kinetic energy generated by traffic flow on sections requiring deceleration or braking to generate electricity, making the project easy to implement;
    Hydraulic energy conversion devices collect idle kinetic energy to generate electricity, which not only plays a practical role in saving and replenishing energy, but also plays a positive role in reducing road damage and extending road service life.
    (3) The power generation system adopts hydraulic energy transducer device, which can collect instantaneous high-power idle energy and has high reliability;
