Key innovations
Nano-flat ceramic membranes have long life, high stability, large flux and energy saving. Combined with the smart cloud platform, remote intelligent monitoring and management can be realized, and a variety of industrial wastewater can be treated with low sludge volume and broadened application fields.
Potential economic benefits
This technology is energy-saving and efficient, with a membrane life of more than 15 years, significantly reducing operating and replacement costs. Remote intelligent management can further save labor. Effluent water can be reused, creating additional economic value. The amount of remaining sludge is low and disposal costs are reduced.
Potential climate benefits
This technology significantly reduces operating energy consumption and reduces power-related carbon emissions through "more energy-saving" membrane flux and optimized intelligent management. Long-life ceramic membranes reduce implied carbon emissions from production and replacement. Low sludge production reduces energy consumption and emissions for sludge treatment and transportation.

Solution details

1. technical name

Nano-flat ceramic membrane sewage treatment technology and integrated equipment.

2. scope of application

Small and medium-sized industrial wastewater and municipal sewage treatment.

3. technical content

3.1 technical principle

Nano-flat ceramic membrane is an asymmetric membrane prepared from inorganic ceramic materials through special processes. The wall of the ceramic membrane is densely covered with pores with a pore diameter of about 100nm. Under the action of suction external pressure, small molecules such as water penetrate through the membrane, and large molecules are trapped by the membrane, thereby achieving the purpose of separation.

Nano-flat ceramic membrane sewage treatment technology and integrated equipment take flat ceramic membrane technology as the core, combining membrane separation technology and biological treatment process for sewage treatment, realizing simultaneous treatment of sewage sludge, simultaneous denitrification and phosphorus removal, and remote wisdom management. Main engineering parameters: hydraulic power shutdown time is 4h ~ 8h ; sludge concentration is 6000mg/L~12000mg/L; membrane differential pressure limit is ≤60kPa.

3.2 main innovations

The flat ceramic membrane has a long service life of more than 15 years, has more relaxed water inlet requirements, has high membrane flux, and is more energy-saving. This technology can be applied to sewage of different natures, especially some special industrial wastewater, broadening the application field of membrane bioreactors. The smart water cloud platform can realize remote monitoring and management of sewage stations. Realize long-distance transmission of sewage treatment station test data, equipment status and on-site monitoring information. You can see real-time conditions and equipment fault alarm information on mobile phones, computers and large screens of the monitoring center; the opening and closing status of equipment can be remotely controlled to handle electrical failures, automatically adjust process parameters and working conditions, etc.(for example, controlling membrane work and backwash time, adjusting aeration opening and closing time, etc.).

4. Pollution control or environmental restoration effects

The quality of the treated effluent is stable and better than the Level A standard of the "Discharge Standards for Pollutants in Urban Sewage Treatment Plants"(GB18918-2002), and can be directly reused for greening water and ecological water replenishment. Compared with traditional processes, the amount of excess sludge is low; compared with organic membrane processes, the membrane has long life, little secondary pollution, and high chemical stability, so it has a wider application range.

5. Technology demonstration

This integrated equipment has been applied in 6 industrial wastewater treatment projects. The centralized sewage treatment station project in Chengbei Industrial Park in Zhaoping County has a treatment scale of 500m3/d. It adopts nano-plate ceramic membrane sewage treatment integrated equipment based on intelligent management. The effluent water quality reaches the GB18918 -2002 Class A standard. In 2020, the total amount of COD removed will be 26.17 tons, and the total amount of NH3-N removed will be 2.73 tons.

6. investment estimation

The investment cost of nano-flat ceramic membrane integrated equipment and supporting facilities ranges from 3000 yuan/m3 to 4,000 yuan/m3.

7. investment recovery period

The payback period for equipment investment is 5 to 8 years.

8. Prospects for transformation and promotion of technological achievements

This technical equipment can achieve bacterial symbiosis. It is an energy-saving, efficient, and remotely manageable environmentally friendly wastewater treatment technology. It can be used for collaborative treatment of various industries such as mine wastewater, printing and dyeing wastewater, high-concentration organic wastewater, and strong acid and alkali wastewater. Wastewater and conventional municipal sewage have better market competitiveness compared with similar domestic technical equipment.
