Solution details

As early as March 2021, Ningxia Baofeng Energy Group Co., Ltd. completed my country's first large-scale green hydrogen project-the 10×1000m3/h electrolyzed water hydrogen production project of the Solar Electrolytic Hydrogen Production Energy Storage Research and Demonstration Project. The project uses the most advanced domestic high-efficiency alkaline electrolytic cell with a single production capacity of 1000 standard square meters per hour. It is estimated that the annual output of hydrogen will be 160 million standard cubic meters and the by-product oxygen will be 80 million standard cubic meters. It can reduce coal consumption by 254,000 tons and carbon dioxide emissions by 445,000 tons every year. The electrolyzed water hydrogen production unit in the project is effectively integrated with the existing high-end coal-based new material industry chain in Ningxia Baofeng. It is the first time to directly supply new energy to the coal chemical production system. That is, solar energy "green hydrogen" is added to the methanol plant to couple the production of methanol and olefins, etc. High-end materials, by-product oxygen replaces part of the air separation oxygen production for coal gasification and combustion in the methanol plant, effectively reducing the comprehensive cost of hydrogen production, and realizing the effective conversion of renewable energy into high-end chemical new materials. At the same time, the production of methanol by coupling hydrogen supplementation will also greatly reduce the amount of gas conversion.
