This commercial project is based on technological innovation in the treatment of high-concentration petrochemical wastewater. Effective treatment of petrochemical wastewater is a technical problem worldwide; especially in developing countries with rapid economic development, where large petrochemical industries and processing and manufacturing industries produce a large amount of petrochemical wastewater. Based on in-depth research on the traditional anaerobic industrial sewage treatment industry, our entrepreneurial team has improved the traditional upflow anaerobic sludge bed reactor (UASB) technology in terms of process flow, reactor design and operation control of Walksford Environmental Technology and Engineering Co., Ltd., and used new bioauxiliary materials and advanced bioaugmentation technology in the new treatment system. We applied the improved process to a laboratory-scale test device and applied it to research on the treatment of petrochemical wastewater. The new process achieved breakthrough success in the test. The treatment efficiency of this new process is more than 15 times higher than that of the existing European petrochemical wastewater biological treatment technology. In addition, its advantages include: low energy consumption and space requirements, high operating load, stable treatment effect, low operation management costs, and energy recovery from wastewater can be achieved through the reactor. A large amount of biogas generated in the reactor can be achieved.
