This project belongs to the discipline of offshore oil and gas extraction technology in the field of marine technology, and is a key project supported by the Ministry of Science and Technology and the National Development and Reform Commission. Deep-sea oil and gas mining equipment is the core technology and equipment of offshore and underwater oil fields. Only the United States has it in the world. More than 300 wells in my country's South China Sea are mined by Vietnam and the Philippines. They are considered by the United States to be "disputed sea areas" and are blocked and shielded; my country's long-term dependence on imports for marine and underwater oil production equipment is tantamount to opening the seabed, which poses a great threat to my country's energy security, maritime security and even coastal defense security, and in turn threatens national interests. Supported by the "Eleventh Five-Year Plan" and "Twelfth Five-Year Plan" national science and technology major projects "Overall Development Plan and Basic Design Technology of Liwan 3-1 Gas Field", through technological innovation and independent research and development, this project has designed and manufactured my country's first set of deep-sea oil and gas mining equipment, mainly involving underwater high-pressure gate valves at a water depth of 1000 meters, underwater pipeline connection devices, underwater production trees, underwater tubing suspension devices, and underwater installation and testing tools, and has achieved sealing of offshore deepwater equipment, A series of key technological breakthroughs such as underwater automatic docking have filled the national gap. The innovative results are as follows:
1) Original underwater excited annulus sealing technology, which solves the sealing problem that does not fail for more than 25 years under high temperature (370℃), high pressure (300MPa), and high corrosion (10% H2S, 80% CO2) environment;
2) Breakthrough in the design and manufacturing technology of deepwater gate valves metal seals, solving the safety sealing requirements of deepwater gate valves for 603 high temperature, high pressure, low temperature (-46℃), and low pressure cycle fatigue tests;
3) It is the world's first underwater metal seal replacement technology, which improves the efficiency of underwater docking and installation of underwater oil and gas mining equipment; after testing in the ocean, it took only 1/12 of the original time.
4) Innovative design of the underwater docking device with a pre-tightening force adjustment mechanism solves the problem of loosening and leakage caused by long-term vibration, temperature and pressure changes; achieves high-precision alignment in the horizontal and vertical directions of installation under 1000 meters deep sea water, three-point simultaneous metal sealing problem.
The results of the project have filled domestic gaps, reached the international advanced level, cultivated and jointly grew a number of outstanding domestic enterprises, involving rubber sealing, hydraulic transmission, machining, high-speed spray welding, material heat treatment and other related industries, and jointly built offshore engineering equipment industry chain; trained 30 core technical talents specializing in design, manufacturing, and testing. A total of 73 patents have been applied for for the project, including 27 invention patents, 14 papers have been published, and 1 book has been participated in the preparation of. During the period from 2011 to 2013, the project results were successfully applied to the Yacheng Gas Field and Liuhua Oilfield in Nanhai, and have been operating safely so far, proving that they are highly reliable, convenient underwater installation and testing, strong market competitiveness, and a high degree of transformation of results. Since 2013, the project results have been applied to the "National Development and Reform Commission-Research and Development and Industrialization of Large Underwater Vehicles (ROV)" project under development; the "Ministry of Industry and Information Technology of the People's Republic of China-Development of Subsea Control System Subplate and Locking Mechanism" project;"Shanghai City Science and Technology Commission-Research on Design, Manufacturing, Installation and Commissioning Technology of Underwater Mud Line Oil Production System" project;"CNOOC-Research and Development of Key Technologies for Design and Manufacturing of Underwater Christmas Tree" project; It is expected that in the next five years, it will save the country 10 billion yuan in direct imported equipment procurement costs, and work with the 981 deep-sea drilling platform to realize the dream of independently developing the South China Sea of China. It has laid the foundation for the localization and engineering of offshore oil and gas exploration equipment, and provided technical reserves for potential "South China Sea issues","marine energy issues" and "marine security issues". The project leader was awarded the title of 2014 Shanghai City Leading Talent and was named Shanghai Outstanding Technical Leader.
