This project was established as a national quality inspection public welfare industry scientific research special project in 2009 (project number is 200910224). This project conducts research on key technical issues and basic problems related to the manufacture and installation of explosion-proof elevators, especially on non-electrical explosion-proof safety technology of explosion-proof elevators, and solves the bottleneck problems that restrict the safety standards for the manufacture and installation of explosion-proof elevators. This project focuses on the research on the phenomenon and mechanism of non-zero-speed brake temperature rise of explosion-proof elevator brakes, the phenomenon and mechanism of temperature rise of safety tongs, and the mechanical anti-explosion performance of flame-proof control cabinets in explosive shocks. It fills the research gap of explosion-proof elevators in the field of non-electrical explosion protection at home and abroad, and overcomes two difficulties: real-time online measurement technology of temperature rise during brake and safety tongs action, and physical process modeling of temperature rise during safety tongs action. A number of research results have been adopted by the national mandatory standard GB31094 -2014 "Safety Code for the Manufacturing and Installation of Explosion-proof Elevators", and have been applied to the design and manufacturing of explosion-proof elevators and the safety inspection of inspection agencies. At the same time, the research carried out in this project has certain basic nature, such as the research on friction temperature rise, and its research results have certain reference value for similar explosion-proof technical issues in other industries. According to the report of the Shanghai Science and Technology Novelty Retrieval Consulting Center of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, the research results of this project are novel and at the international advanced level, and its main research results are in an international leading position.
Explosion-proof elevators have been increasingly used in places containing explosive mixtures such as petroleum, chemicals, pharmaceuticals, paints, metallurgy, scientific research, and urban gas stations. Electrical and mechanical sparks and overheated surfaces generated by explosion-proof elevators during normal operation and/or failure conditions become potential ignition sources that may ignite explosive gas mixtures in the surrounding working environment. As special equipment, elevators themselves are related to life safety and greater danger. When they are used in flammable and explosive dangerous places, they are even more special. Once an explosion accident occurs, the damage will far exceed that of ordinary special equipment safety accidents. Therefore, these elevators must have reliable explosion-proof performance. By solving these key technical problems, this project provides solid supporting research for the formulation of safety standards for the manufacture and installation of explosion-proof elevators, changes the current situation that there are no standards to follow for the safety of explosion-proof elevators and safety supervision is relatively lagging, and standardizes explosion-proof elevator manufacturers and users 'behavior in all aspects of the design, manufacturing, installation, use and maintenance of explosion-proof elevators ensures the life safety of the equipment itself and related personnel, and greatly improves the safety of the use of explosion-proof elevators. The research on this project can also provide technical support for the General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine to further supplement and improve the safety technical specifications for explosion-proof elevators, and provide detailed scientific basis for the country's safety supervision of explosion-proof elevators, so as to track and control the quality and safety performance of explosion-proof elevators in a timely manner.
The test methods proposed by the research institute of this project and the mandatory national standard GB31094 -2014 "Safety Code for the Manufacturing and Installation of Explosion-proof Elevators" formulated regulate the manufacturing, installation and testing methods of various explosion-proof elevators, and have been widely used in petrochemical, medical, health, aerospace and other industries such as explosion-proof elevator manufacturers, special equipment inspection agencies, and users. By applying the results of this project, Shanghai Desheng Migao Elevator Co., Ltd. has increased output value by 20 million yuan, increased profits and taxes by 3.5 million yuan, and saved costs by 4.35 million yuan within three years. After applying the results of this project, Southeast Elevator Co., Ltd. has greatly saved production costs. Safety gear alone can save production costs by 1.5 million yuan per year and 4.5 million yuan in three years. Through the research of this project, the Shanghai City Special Inspection Institute has improved the inspection capabilities of explosion-proof elevators and expanded its influence in the industry. It currently undertakes entrusted inspection tasks of explosion-proof elevators in many areas such as East China, Guangxi, Inner Mongolia and Hainan, and its business income has accumulated nearly 2 million yuan in three years.
