This project belongs to the field of civil engineering.
As a solid by-product produced by flue gas desulfurization in coal-fired power plants, the output of desulfurization gypsum has increased year after year. Because it has not been utilized as resources in a timely and effective manner, the stockpiled volume has become larger and larger. The annual production of desulfurization gypsum in Shanghai City alone reaches 1.5 million tons. Several coal-fired power plants in Shanghai once experienced an emergency situation in which gypsum piled up, pipelines were severely stressed and faced damage, and production operations were forced to be suspended, endangering production safety. In 2009, relevant reports were submitted to the Shanghai City government. After analysis, desulfurized gypsum is a kind of gypsum with high purity, and efficient and large-scale disposal of it must be in the field of civil engineering. Therefore, the Shanghai City Diplomatic Relations Commission instructed Shanghai Urban Construction Group to carry out the "Research on the Implementation Plan for Comprehensive Utilization and Safe Disposal of Desulfurized Gypsum in Shanghai City", hoping to dispose of desulfurized gypsum efficiently and in large quantities. This project uses desulfurized gypsum in five engineering fields: synchronous grouting materials for tunnel construction, high-strength concrete mineral admixtures, self-leveling floor materials, wall insulation systems and three-slag concrete for road base, and introduces mechanized construction technology to break through technical bottlenecks such as "low level of preparation and construction equipment" and "few engineering utilization methods" of desulfurized gypsum's high value-added products. It is the first in mechanized construction and multi-field engineering applications in China, and has achieved many innovative results. Including:
1) It was the first in China to propose a low-temperature treatment process for desulfurized gypsum, and introduced a dehydration and drying device, which overcame the shortcomings of the high-temperature calcination process such as high energy consumption, high cost, and small finished product scale, and provided a foundation for the disposal of a large number of desulfurized gypsum.
2) For the first time in China, desulfurization gypsum was applied in five engineering fields including tunnel construction synchronous grouting materials, high-strength concrete mineral admixtures, self-leveling floor materials, wall insulation systems and road base three-slag concrete, and a system of pretreatment of desulfurization gypsum was established. The system of refining the process, mechanization of construction processes, standardization of supporting technologies, and industrialization of technical achievements provides systematic solutions for industrial development.
3) For the first time in China, desulfurized gypsum was used for the production of wall insulation materials and supporting materials such as insulation mortar, painting gypsum, leveling putty, etc., and mechanized spraying construction was realized, solving the technical difficulties in many major links in the industrial chain such as mass production and quality control of a series of gypsum mortars, and mechanized spraying construction technology and product application standards and specifications, and successfully built a production line with an annual production of 300,000 tons of products. In the past three years, the wall area that has been applied has reached 1.23 million square meters, and the output value has reached 39.628 million yuan.
4) For the first time in China, desulfurized gypsum was applied as a synchronous grouting material for tunnel construction, and was successfully applied to key municipal projects such as Shanghai Jungong Road Crossing River Tunnel Project and Shanghai Yingbin 3rd Road Tunnel New Construction Project.
This project has applied for 8 invention patents (4 have been authorized), editor-in-chief 1 standard, editor-in-chief 1 application technical specification, editor-in-chief 1 municipal construction method of Shanghai City, and published 8 papers.
This project solves the problem of inefficient disposal of desulfurized gypsum, increases the added value of desulfurized gypsum-related products, and makes desulfurized gypsum a valuable national resource. The project results support 2 local policies in Shanghai City (Hufuban [2009] No. 56 and Hufa Gai Huanzi [2009] No. 046) and the national "12th Five-Year Plan" Implementation Plan for Comprehensive Utilization of Bulk Solid Waste "have successfully completed the major scientific research project of the Shanghai City Construction and Transportation Commission" Research on the Implementation Plan for Comprehensive Utilization and Safe Disposal of Desulfurization Gypsum in Shanghai City "(Project No.: Zhongke2010 -004). After inquiry by the Shanghai Science and Technology Novelty Searching and Consulting Center of China Academy of Sciences and the Shanghai Institute of Science and Technology Information, the overall technical level has reached the international advanced level.
This project has achieved significant technical, economic, social and environmental benefits. In the past three years, the new output value has been 1.413 billion yuan and the new profit has reached 35.4243 million yuan. At the same time, in-depth promotion of scientific research results can relieve the pressure on resources and environment and achieve the strategic goals of the country and this city's circular economy development and comprehensive utilization of resources.
