Key innovations
The curved cone design combines a flushing system to efficiently remove nano and micron smoke using the principle of inertia, prevent clogging and entrainment, achieve ultra-low emissions and long-term stable operation, and extremely low operating costs.
Potential economic benefits
This technology basically has no additional operating costs, has a equipment life of 30 years, has long-term stable operation, reduces downtime and maintenance, meets emissions and avoids fines, and has significant comprehensive economic benefits.
Potential climate benefits
This technology optimizes the operation of the wet flue gas treatment system by efficiently removing fog droplets and particulate matter in the flue gas. Its low-pressure drop design significantly reduces fan energy consumption and reduces power consumption, thereby indirectly reducing carbon dioxide emissions from sources such as coal-fired power plants.

Solution details

Basic content:

(1) Basic principles

The curved cone smoke removal technology uses a complete set of curved cone smoke removal devices to separate and remove the mist droplets and particulate matter carried in the flue gas of the wet flue gas treatment process. The curved conical cylinder mist removal device includes a set of mist removal units and a supporting flushing system. The defogging unit consists of a curved blade group and a conical separation cylinder. After the flue gas enters the device, it uses the inertia acceleration of a special curved surface to continuously separate the mist droplets that have swept over the curved surface from the gas, and then discharged through the conical cylinder wall droplets with side slits to prevent secondary entrainment. Washing holes are opened at the roots of the defogging blades, and washing branch pipes are arranged to connect the interior of each curved conical tube mist eliminator. The washing water is flushed outward from the roots through small holes at the bottom of the blades. (2) Technical advantages

(1) Investment advantages: It solves the three major problems of efficient removal of nano and micron smoke, secondary entrainment, and clogging.

Used in the tail section of the wet flue gas desulfurization process, the outlet particulate matter concentration is less than 5~10 mg/m3, meeting the "Emission Standards for Pollutants in the Petroleum Refining Industry","Emission Standards for Air Pollutants for Coal-fired Power Plants", and "Comprehensive Emission Standards for Air Pollutants".

(2) Operating expenses: This technology provides a complete set of curved cone smoke removal devices for use in the flue gas treatment system. Except for one-time investment, there is basically no additional operating expenses.

(3) Operation stability: The technology solves the problem of easy clogging. It is used for high-concentration oily and dusty smoke in the refining and chemical industry to meet the long-term requirement of 4 years for one start-up operation.

Technical requirements:

(1) Technical indicators

Used in the tail section of the wet flue gas desulfurization process, the outlet particulate matter concentration is less than 5~10mg/m3, meeting the "Emission Standards for Pollutants in the Petroleum Refining Industry","Emission Standards for Air Pollutants for Coal-fired Power Plants", and "Comprehensive Emission Standards for Air Pollutants".

(2) Condition requirements

The technology is used to separate mist droplets and wet dust carried in the flue gas. The air flow velocity entering the device is 1~10m/s; mist eliminator pressure drop 0.1~About 0.7kPa; rinsing cycle is 1~24h, the water consumption of each defogging unit is 0.01~0.9t/h。

(3) Typical scale

Adapt to the amount of smoke of any scale, with an inlet concentration of less than 300mg/Nm3.

Critical equipment and operation management:

(1) Main equipment

The curved cone smoke removal technology uses a complete set of curved vane-cone smoke removal devices to separate and remove mist droplets and particulate matter carried in the smoke. The equipment includes a mist removal unit, a flushing system and other accessories. The defogging unit includes a curved blade group and a conical cylinder.

(2) Operation management

After equipment installation and debugging are completed, automated management is adopted.

Investment benefit analysis:

1. Investment situation

Taking the refining flue gas volume of 250,000 Nm3/h as an example, the investment is about 8 million yuan, and the main equipment has a life of 30 years.

(2) Operating expenses

This technology provides a complete set of curved cone smoke removal devices for use in smoke treatment systems. Except for one-time investment, there is basically no additional operating costs.
