Key innovations
The innovation lies in dividing wastewater from thick to thin, making fertilizer from high-concentration liquids, and deeply treating low-concentration liquids. At the same time, it is efficient and energy-saving, biological denitrification and emission reduction, and biogas recycling, which significantly reduces costs and increases efficiency.
Potential economic benefits
This technology achieves significant economic benefits by producing organic fertilizers, saving 1.83 tons of steam, reducing the cost of wastewater treatment per ton from 30-40 yuan to 8 yuan, and recycling biogas.
Potential climate benefits
Directly reduce carbon dioxide emissions, save steam and reduce energy consumption emissions, biogas replaces fossil fuels, and organic fertilizers reduce emissions from chemical fertilizer production.

Solution details

1. scope of application

Food manufacturing; biological fermentation.

2. Brief description of technology

This technology separates yeast industry wastewater from dark to dark. High-concentration fermentation liquor (concentrated liquor) is evaporated, concentrated and spray-dried to make organic fertilizer. Other comprehensive wastewater (weak liquor) is treated and discharged to meet the standards through biological treatment-chemical advanced treatment technology. The key equipment of this technology includes: multi-effect tubular TVR/MVR evaporator, spray drying tower, biological anaerobic reactor, biological denitrification reactor and chemical advanced treatment equipment.

3. technical information

Yeast industry wastewater is separated into thick and thin. High-concentration fermentation liquor (concentrated liquor) is evaporated, concentrated and spray-dried to make organic fertilizer. Other comprehensive wastewater (weak liquor) is discharged to meet the standards through biological treatment.

4. comprehensive benefits

Through the application of this technology, the wastewater discharge from yeast products can be reduced from 125m3 to 80 m3, the wastewater COD discharge from yeast products can be reduced from 1.2 tons to 0.24 tons, and the wastewater COD can be reduced to below 150 mg/L; At the same time, compared with traditional nitrification/denitrification processes, biological denitrification technology can reduce carbon dioxide production by 90%, which has significant environmental benefits. This technology adopts a six-effect tubular falling-film evaporator with forced circulation. Compared with similar evaporation systems, the steam consumption of yeast products can save about 1.83 tons of steam; the organic fertilizer products developed through wastewater resource utilization can be applied to the cultivation of wheat, corn, sugar beet, cotton and other crops, with good application effects; Other comprehensive wastewater (weak liquor) is recycled through biological treatment, and low-pressure steam is generated through biogas boilers for use in yeast production workshops. The treatment cost per ton of wastewater is reduced from 30-40 yuan to about 8 yuan. The application of this technology has produced good economic benefits.
