

The water treatment technology of sewage treatment plants in my country is mainly based on various biochemical technologies. The COD of the effluent from the secondary sedimentation tank is between 100 and 200mg/L, which cannot meet the industrial sewage discharge standard (GB18918 -2002). The need for feasible advanced sewage treatment technology is becoming increasingly urgent. In view of the fact that the photocatalytic sewage treatment technology is mainly a stirred/aerated reactor or sewage treatment tank, which has the shortcomings of small treatment capacity per ton of water, large area, and sequencing batch operation; while the chemical absorption tower has the advantages of large treatment capacity per unit tower area, small area, and continuous operation, tower photocatalytic-biological fluidized bed sewage treatment technology is currently being developed. The 100kg/h tower photocatalytic-biological fluidized bed sewage treatment equipment is operating well, and the area per ton of water is about 0.2 m.<sup>2</sup>/ton of water/day, the investment in equipment with a processing capacity of 1000 tons/day is about 3 million yuan, and the processing cost is 2-3 yuan/ton of water.
The tower photocatalysis-biological fluidized bed sewage treatment technology covers a small area per ton of water, about 0.2 m<sup>2</sup>/ton of water/day; the investment is small, and the investment in equipment with a processing capacity of 1000 tons/day is about 3 million yuan; the treatment cost is low, at 2-3 yuan/ton of water.
