The rear air conditioning controller of this project plays its due role in intelligent control of automobile air conditioning due to its high-quality display effect, comfortable hand feel, advanced communication technology, stable light control circuit, and memory function. This project breaks through the traditional lighting design concept and control mode. It integrates the rear car controller through the latest LIN communication and control, reflecting the high-end and fashion of the new generation of automotive products. It adopts a stable lighting control circuit to reduce lighting errors and At the same time, it improves the stability and uniformity of the lamp tube. This project adopts a new knob handle design idea, which improves the comfort of the knob and brings an extremely intimate life experience to users. This product has developed backlight design concepts and ideas, which can be used in the development and manufacturing of automotive control panel backlights, such as air conditioning controllers, audio entertainment, and even instrument panels.
The product of this project has the following innovations:
- Adopt the domestic leading LIN communication new design concept and optimize it to meet customer needs, improve production efficiency, and save costs.
- Adopt unique electronic circuit control, making the backlight design targeted and stable.
- A new power-off memory logic design has been introduced to realize power-off memory logic.
- Adopt PWV adjustment control to realize intelligent adjustment of brightness. Convenient control, and this product realizes linear brightness control and display, which can bring stepless dimming function to users;
- The structural parts and light guides adopt new design concepts and ideas. Through a large number of simulations and tests, an optical effect with basically no attenuation of all-round light brightness is finally designed.

The technology of this project breaks the original backlight design, the original knob design and power-off memory logic, bringing users a comfortable driving experience, promoting the development of automotive smart products, and also making progress in algorithmic logic. The project has obtained 2 utility model patent authorizations and 1 software copyright authorization. It also applied for 1 invention patent, which has been accepted and passed the preliminary review. The product meets the Volkswagen General Test Standard VW80101 and Lin Test Standard LIN Spec 2.0. The products of this project have successfully replaced similar imported products.

(2) Application promotion
At present, this project product has been used in mass production and application of Shanghai Volkswagen's new PASSAT models, and it is planned to be promoted and applied in subsequent similar models of Shanghai Volkswagen. In domestic and foreign markets, the company is also actively promoting, such as domestic SAIC, FAW, FAW-Volkswagen, Chang 'an, etc., international Nissan, Ford, General Motors, etc., and has received positive feedback from many customers and will soon gain widespread use of similar products in more models.
The summary of PWM control design experience and backlight debugging experience provide design basis for other projects, such as the application of subsequent projects: FAW B50F CCH, Ford B562CCH, Shanghai GM E16/E18CCH and other projects. The optical design was considered and optimized at the beginning of the conceptual design to better meet customer needs and improve product competitiveness.
At present, the product design meets customer needs and has been recognized by BMG by Shanghai Volkswagen and Volkswagen of Germany. Since mass production, no complaints from customers due to poor quality problems have been received, and the production pass rate of internal products in the factory has remained above 98%.
