

"High-speed precision horizontal machining center" is a key equipment in advanced manufacturing, which can realize five-sided machining of workpieces in one time. The Ministry of Industry and Information Technology's major scientific and technological project of "High-end CNC Machine Tools and Basic Manufacturing Equipment" includes the topic of "High-speed, Precision Horizontal Machining Center" for key support. Its precision spindle structure design, precision rotary workbench structure design, precision drag mechanism design technology, optimization design of the whole machine structure is the key technology of this topic.
The "XH-630A Horizontal Machining Center" adopts gravity drive technology. A dual servo/dual screw drive system is designed for X and Y feeds, which greatly improves the response speed and accuracy of feed parts. The project is designed by the Advanced Manufacturing Technology and Equipment Knowledge Service Team of Shanghai University of Science and Technology and manufactured by Shanghai No. 3 Machine Tool Factory, and was listed as "Shanghai City's First Performance Breakthrough Project for Major Technical Equipment" by the Shanghai City Commission.
The first prototype of this project was exhibited in the 11th Shanghai International Machine Tool Exhibition. The project passed the acceptance of an expert group chaired by the Shanghai City Economic and Information Technology Commission. An innovative technology "Static Stiffness Testing Method for Horizontal Machining Centers" was awarded an invention patent by the State Intellectual Property Office.
