Solution details

The 15000-ton self-dumping cement ship is a ship developed by Shanghai Shipbuilding Research and Design Institute (SDARI) for Intership Navigation Co. Ltd. Designed, a new generation of large-scale self-unloading cement ships built by Shandong Province Huanghai Shipbuilding Co., Ltd. integrating mechanical and pneumatic loading and unloading, all technical indicators have met the requirements of the design task document, and generally reached the international advanced level of similar ships. This ship is a stern type, with living accommodation and cab located at the rear, and complete front and rear buildings; the cargo bay area is equipped with 3 cargo compartments and 1 pump cabin; it is equipped with a forward-leaning bow, a ball nose, double skeg, and a square tail; It is driven by two medium-speed diesel engines, adopts twin propellers and twin rudders, and is equipped with a fore and aft thruster. Its main technical parameters are as follows: The total length is 132.00m; Length between vertical lines 125.00m; type width 22.50m; type depth 11.00m; design draft 7.80m; structural draft 8.20m; load capacity: design draft 14007 t/structural draft 15053 t; total tonnage 8559; main engine Daihatsu 8DKM-28 L × 2 units; power MCR 2500 kW × 750 r/min; service speed (85% MCR,15% S.M.) 12.6kn; endurance 7000 nautical miles; crew size 19; flag country Cyprus. The key innovations of this ship are: 1. In accordance with the requirements of the Convention on environmental protection, emissions and minimum energy consumption for cargo loading and unloading, the world's most advanced environmentally friendly dumping equipment integrating mechanical and pneumatic cargo loading and unloading systems is adopted, with a high degree of automation. According to the characteristics of the system, the selection of propulsion equipment and the configuration of power station are reasonable and economical, and the main engine efficiency is maximized. 2. A double-caudal fin pattern with positive droplet shape is studied and designed. Model tests and real ships show that the drag can be reduced by 5%. It is equipped with twin propellers, twin rudders and fore thrust, and has excellent handling performance. 3. In order to meet the self-dumping requirements, a new structural form of semi-longitudinal bulkhead under the cargo hold deck is proposed, which overcomes the defects caused by the discontinuity of the inclined inner bottom to the double bottom structure. 4. For the installation of tarpaulin on inner bottom streambed, based on summarizing the construction experience of a 7500-ton self-dumping cement ship, the "pre-cutting and pre-ironing" method of airbed tarpaulin was used to replace the original "on-site research and preparation" method. The total equipment joint debugging period was shortened from the original 55 days to 21 days. This achievement has been authorized with 2 utility model patents (ZL2011 20542008.2 is a double skeg self-dumping cement ship; ZL2011 20554202.2 is a self-dumping cement ship that reduces unloading residues); 2 invention patents have been applied for (application number 201110433620.0 is a double skeg self-dumping cement ship; application number 201110443927.9 is a self-dumping cement ship that reduces unloading residues), and the invention patent is under review. This achievement has published 2 papers: "Design Characteristics and Key Technologies of a New Generation of Self-unloading Cement Ships", Shipbuilding Engineering (No. 3, 2012);"Loading and unloading Characteristics and Development Trends of a New Generation of Self-unloading Cement Ships", Shipbuilding and Ocean Engineering (No. 3, 2012). The ship was built in batches and all of them were delivered for use in May 2011, with a contract amount of 450 million yuan. This ship is currently the largest new generation of large-scale self-dumping cement ship designed and built in my country with completely independent intellectual property rights. It has advanced technology, excellent performance, energy conservation and environmental protection. It is highly praised by foreign shipowners, has good market prospects, and has significant economic benefits and social benefits. It has a positive role in promoting the technical development of large self-unloading cement ships, and also promotes the improvement of IMO and CCS codes. With the improvement of environmental protection concepts, relevant specifications and systems, issues such as air pollution caused by dust from cement ships during loading and unloading, and large amounts of CO2 emissions during cement firing by small enterprises will attract great attention from the country. Therefore, it is believed that in the near future, efficient and fully enclosed self-dumping cement ships will be favored by more domestic and foreign shipowners.
